Terms of Service
FantaAlpineSki
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms govern the use of FantaAlpineSki, the fantasy game about alpine ski racing. By using the app you accept them: if you do not agree, do not use it. Like the privacy policy, they are written to actually be read.
Who provides the service
FantaAlpineSki is developed and run by Livio Galleano, a private individual. For any question you can write to fantaskialpin@proton.me.
The service
- FantaAlpineSki is a game: you build a virtual team with real athletes, set your lineup race by race and challenge the other participants in your leagues. Points depend on the real results of the races.
- The app is free, with no ads and no purchases.
- No money is played and FantaAlpineSki does not offer prizes. It is not a betting or gambling service, and it must not be used to organise any.
- The app is under continuous development: features, game rules and appearance may change, and there may be errors.
Your account
- You must be at least 14 years old to use the app.
- One account per person: do not create more to have several teams in the same league or to rejoin a league you were removed from.
- Keep your password to yourself. If you sign in with Google or Apple, their terms of service also apply.
- You can delete your account at any time, from your Profile with Delete account, as explained in the privacy policy.
Leagues and admins
Whoever creates a league is its admin: they decide its settings and competitions, choose who takes part, can remove a participant and make other participants admins. These choices concern their own league: FantaAlpineSki does not intervene in relations between participants, except when someone breaks these terms.
Conduct
You may not:
- write in the chat, or use as a nickname, team name or league name, content that is offensive, discriminatory, threatening, obscene or illegal, or that violates other people's rights;
- impersonate another person;
- access or try to access someone else's account, use the service other than through the app (for example with automated programs) or disrupt its operation;
- take advantage of a bug in the game to gain an advantage: if you find one, report it to us.
An automatic filter covers the most common swear words, but you remain responsible for what you write.
There is zero tolerance for offensive content and for anyone who harasses others. In the chat you can press and hold a message to report it or to block its author: you will no longer see messages from a blocked user, in any league. We review every report within 24 hours and, if the content breaks these terms, we remove it and remove whoever posted it.
If the rules are broken
We may remove content, change an inappropriate name, and suspend or close the account of anyone who breaks these terms. Where possible we will let you know in advance, explaining why, and you can reply by writing to the address above.
Your content
The names you choose and the messages you write remain yours. You allow us to store them and show them to the other participants in your leagues, only to make the game work and for as long as they remain in the app.
Results, points and market values
- Race results are imported automatically from the data published by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS): they may arrive late or contain errors.
- Points and market values are calculated by the app with the rules described in the Rules and FAQ pages. If the official results change, or if we find a calculation error, we may correct them even after a race has finished.
- FantaAlpineSki is not affiliated with or endorsed by FIS or race organisers. The names of athletes, races and events are used only to describe sporting facts, and trademarks and names belong to their respective owners.
The app
The code, graphics, texts and name of FantaAlpineSki belong to the developer. You may use the app to play, but not copy it, resell it or build other services from it without permission.
Availability and liability
- The app is offered free of charge and as is. We do our best to make it work well, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available and free of errors.
- The service may change or be discontinued. If we decide to shut it down, we will announce it in the app with reasonable notice.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the app, such as points lost because of a service interruption or a lineup that was not saved. Nothing in these terms limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the rights that the law grants to consumers.
App Store and Google Play
If you download the app from the App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply: on iOS, Apple's standard licence agreement. Apple and Google are not responsible for FantaAlpineSki or its content.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top, and important changes will also be announced in the app. By continuing to use the app after a change you accept the new version; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the court of the place where you live, and the protections that the law of your country of residence in the European Union does not allow to be excluded remain in force.
To find out which personal data the app processes and how, read the privacy policy. For anything else, write to fantaskialpin@proton.me.
